Meaning behind our name…
Helianthus is the official name of a sunflower, and Camryn had always dreamed of having a business name that was the real name of a plant or flower. Gardening has always been a favorite hobby of hers, and sunflowers were her favorite thing to grow as a teenager. Many varieties of wild sunflowers are native to Nevada. It was important to her to have a business name that represented her roots.

Helianthus Floral Design is a floral design studio based in Reno, NV. We are dedicated to creating nature inspired floral arrangements, for whatever occasion it may be. It is our top priority to express your unique personality and style through the arrangements.
Meet the Owner, Camryn
I admire the little things in life. I am guilty of over celebrating anything I can, and my favorite hobby is planning parties. I have been told I have an old soul, and I have a love for anything vintage. Something about anything that looks aged or worn in, just gets me! Family time with my daughter and husband, getting my hands dirty in the garden, and baking are how I spend my days off.
I am so grateful for all my previous clients who have supported me since the beginning. I started my floral business 8 years ago at age 16, out of my parents garage. I have been a part of over 200 weddings, opened a flower shop, and since gone back to my roots of focusing on weddings. My goals are to bring the perfect vision to life for your event, and deliver fresh flowers with an extra touch of sentiment. Adding little touches to arrangements that say something about the person lights me up. Sharing the beauty of flowers keeps me going, and I appreciate your interest in my business more than you know!
